Matcha Flavoured · Java 26.3 · Whitelisted

Sawan_G_Floor SMP

A slow, friendly survival world running Matcha Flavoured, a datapack that rebuilds Minecraft for players who'd rather explore, cook and build than make mob farms. The land itself comes from Terralith, with almost 100 new biomes to explore.

How to join

Takes about two minutes. You need Minecraft: Java Edition (not Bedrock).

  1. Get on the whitelist

Send Tim your exact Java username. Nobody can join until they're added.

  2. Add the server

Use Minecraft 26.3. Go to Multiplayer → Add Server, and enter mc.thinapat.work. No port needed.

  3. Accept the resource pack

When you join, the server sends Matcha's resource pack (about 20 MB). It's required: without it, items have broken names and vanilla textures. Say Yes.

  4. Read the book

A few seconds after you spawn you'll get a welcome book. Lost it? Type /trigger welcome.

What's different here

Matcha Flavoured changes a lot. This list is enough to get you started.

Food is medicine

No hunger bar and no natural regeneration. Ingredients carry effects, and there are around 50 new foods.

New progression

Four new alloys, with their own tools and armour. Vanilla gear, enchanting and villager trades are reworked.

Gentler deaths

Keep inventory is on, in every dimension. Dying costs less, so try things out.

1:1 Nether

Here one block in the Nether is one block in the Overworld (normally it's 8). Portals connect at the same coordinates.

New terrain

Terralith adds almost 100 biomes, from sakura groves to canyons and new cave biomes. It uses only vanilla blocks, and it's been tuned to fit Matcha.

World border

The world is 20,000 blocks wide, from −10,000 to 10,000 on X and Z, in both the Overworld and the Nether.

Health on show

Every player's health appears under their name. Phantoms are off.

Villages are made, not found. You'll feel alone at first. That's on purpose, and building your own village later is one of the best parts.

Your first hour

There's no wiki, on purpose. Figuring it out is the game. These are the tips the author gives.

Trouble?

Items have weird names or look like vanilla

The resource pack didn't load. Open Multiplayer, select the server, click Edit, set Server Resource Packs to Enabled, and rejoin.

"You are not whitelisted on this server"

Ask Tim to add your exact Java username. Capital letters don't matter, but spelling does.

"Outdated client" or "Outdated server"

The server runs 26.3. Pick that version in the launcher.

Can't connect at all

Check the address is mc.thinapat.work with no port. If it still fails, the server might be restarting. Wait a minute, then message Tim.
